Really this is just advice that I'm after. In the UK if we upset a girl we would perhaps buy them roses, flowers or chocolates to say sorry. What i want to know is what does one traditionally do in malaysia to say sorry to a woman that one has upset? Or is there some meaningful Malaysia poem about forgiveness?? (Point is I've fallen out with a lovely Malay lady, and am desperatelyy trying to win back her affections) - so any help would be greatly appreciated. Hope my helper is out there...... Thanks

Can i say "love is universal" without sounding corny? but honestly, i'm quite sure she'll appreciate any effort you make to patch things up. and yes, roses and chocolate are pretty much accepted by girls here (i should know...) although i cant safely say its traditional. i dont know of any specific malay poems that can help, but perhaps you should try writing your own? most importantly, make sure you're sincere and let her know how you really feel, but this is all just general advice, isnt it? anyways, just go for it, and good luck! sara
