1.How much is this? - Berapa harga ni? 2. Where can I get this? - Mana saya boleh dapat ni? 3.Can you make it cheaper? - Boleh turunkan harga sikit? (lit,: Can you lower the price a little?) 4.It's expensive. - Mahallah... 5.Discount it. (I'll take it as "Gimme a discount-lah" lol) - Kasilah diskaun... 6.Any coffee shops near by? - Ada gerai/mamak dekat sini tak? 7.Going to change house (Going to MOVE house is more suitable, and is 'Akan berpindah' or 'akan pindah rumah') - Akan tukar rumah 8.How is your leg pain? - kaki kau bagaimana? (to be more slangy= 'amacam' [apa+macam] is used instead of 'bagaimana') 9.Are you alone? - Kau bersendirian ke? 10.Where has your child gone? - anak kau pergi mana? 11.Going for a walk. - Pergi bersiar-siar. 12.Very hot today. - Hari ini sangat panas 13.Drying clothes. - Mengering pakaian. ("The clothes are drying" would be 'Pakaian sedang mengering') 14. I washed with my hands. 15.Happy New Year. - Selamat Tahun Baru
Sorry, I'm using 'kau' instead of 'kamu' or 'awak' for "you". 'Kau' ('engkau') is a rougher version of "you" and is usually used among friends. Don't use it to your parents and use it with your own discretion.
